There is no powder coating, paint, or finish to wear off or peel - just the natural patina beauty of solid cast brass that is corrosion-resistant and built to last a lifetime. This fixture boasts premium components, including:

• Beryllium copper socket for optimal corrosion resistance
• Silicone plug that seals the opening where the lead wire exits, preventing ground moisture from entering the fixture
• Ceramic white paint underneath the shade for increased ground illumination
• Acceptance of halogen or LED G4 bi-pin bulbs (not included), housed under a glass enclosure to protect from water
• 4-foot 16AWG, SPT-2 premium tinned copper lead wire
• Unbendable 1-inch thick stem
• Machine-threaded body that screws onto an o-ring for maximum moisture tightness
• Patented heavy-duty 10" tall x 3" wide Hammer stake included

Do It Yourself This fixture is low voltage (12V), the most common option for residential landscape lighting. With little risk of electric shock and wires that can be directly buried in shallow trenches (minimum 6 inches), it's safe and easy enough for most do-it-yourself homeowners to install - and we've made sure you've got everything you need to make installation a breeze.

Installation Tip: This path light has an approximately 16-foot diameter beam spread. For continuous illumination along a path, space these fixtures about 16 feet apart. For independent pools of light, space about 20 feet apart, depending upon your preference and the terrain.
